OSU Events Calendar OSU Events Calendar Outage

We are aware of an issue affecting the OSU Events Calendar (events.oregonstate.edu) starting at approximately 10:00am. We are working with the vendor to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Banner Banner maintenance, Saturday February 14 from 5 am to 5 pm

University Information and Technology will be applying necessary quarterly upgrades to Banner on Saturday, February 14, between 5 am and 5 pm. Banner and many related administrative OSU systems will be unavailable or have limited functionality during this window. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this maintenance, please contact the Service Desk at beav.es/help. The list of affected services includes: • Academic Catalog (CAT) • AWA • Banner • Banner Self-Service (Online Services) • Banner Workflow • BeaverHub • Benny Hire • Benny Buy • Canvas (Some administrative functions not available) • Clean Address • Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM) • Degree Works (MyDegrees) • EvalS • FormFusion • MyOregonState (some links will be unavailable) • OSU Mobile (some data will be unavailable) • Schedule of Classes (New Scheduler) • TouchNet (will accept payments, however, payments will not be posted until Banner returns to service) • Applications that use API calls to obtain data from Banner will be unable to retrieve data during maintenance.

Office 365 Microsoft 365 Service Degradation

We are currently monitoring Microsoft’s service status as reported on the official Microsoft Service Health Status page: https://status.cloud.microsoft/.

If you are experiencing issues with Microsoft services such as Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, or Azure, please check the Microsoft status page for the most up‑to‑date information. Any outages or disruptions reported by Microsoft may impact OSU IT services. This includes sending and receiving email through Exchange Online.

We will continue to monitor Microsoft’s updates. If you experience issues accessing Microsoft 365 apps or files, please reach out to the Service Desk.

Office 365 Microsoft 365 Service Interruption

Microsoft has reported a service interruption affecting several Microsoft 365 tools earlier today, including OneDrive and SharePoint. According to Microsoft’s latest service health updates, the underlying issue has been resolved, but some users may continue to experience intermittent performance problems as services fully stabilize. We will continue to monitor Microsoft’s updates and any user‑reported impacts. If you continue to experience issues accessing Microsoft 365 apps or files, please reach out to the Service Desk.

Beaver Hub issue 1/17/2026 7pm-10pm

We are aware of an issue with Beaver Hub login on Saturday 1/17/2026 between about 7pm and 10pm Pacific Time. This issue has been resolved by the vendor now.

Box Box outage

Box is reporting issues with login, API and Box Notes. As of 5:42pm, the vendor reports they are working on a fix. We will continue to monitor this issue and will post an update by 8:30am on 12/17/2025. For the latest updates, see: https://status.box.com/

CORE Reporting Jaspersoft operational issue 2025-11-25

Current Status

We detected an issue affecting Jaspersoft, causing slow performance or complete unavailability. The issue began at approximately 11:15 a.m.

Scope

Currently, only Jaspersoft is impacted.

User Impact

Users may experience normal performance, slow operation, or inability to access Jaspersoft at all.

What We’re Doing

We are actively investigating the issue, and have involved others in the OSU network operations center.

We will provide another update by 1:00 p.m. or sooner if there are significant changes.

Automic Workload Automation (AWA) AWA Job Outage

There is a known issue with AWA that affects job queuing – this means that jobs are not running. This affects roughly 2,000 jobs, including things like transcript printing, student refunds, and disbursements. We will be testing a fix for this issue in dev today, Monday, November 10, 2025, and through this evening. If the fix is successful, then we will take an emergency outage to apply the fix in production. We do not yet have an ETA for resolution. Microsoft Service Issue Impacting OSU Logins and Microsoft 365

We are aware of a Microsoft service issue currently impacting OSU logins and Microsoft 365 services.

At this time, users may experience intermittent issues signing in with their OSU credentials and accessing Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive (particularly web-based versions).

CORE Reporting Reporting operational issue 2025-10-28 - Jaspersoft and GRS impacted

At 7:41 AM PDT on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, we became aware of an issue affecting Finance Operating Ledger data.

These systems have Operating Ledger data that has not been refreshed today and so do not include activity from yesterday:

  • Grant Reporting System (GRS)
  • Jaspersoft
  • AMP Historical Operating Ledger reporting

Our UIT Data Team is actively working to resolve this issue. We will post updates within 3 hours or sooner if anything changes.
