UIT Telecom is conducting emergency fail-over testing for the telephone gateway systems located at OSU Cascades Campus.

Date/Time: 12 - 1 pm

Impact: When the remote systems are put into a fail-over state there will be a short outage for the site being tested as it transitions into and out of the fail-over state. The outage is expected to last no longer than 10 minutes. Any calls currently in progress when the fail-over and fail-back happens should not be interrupted.

While the system is in a fail-over state 5-digit dialing will not be possible to or from the site being tested. During the test window calls to or from the affected location will require that you dial the full ten digit extension for the number you’re trying to reach.
