At 6:54 PM we were alerted to a loss of connectivity to the switch at HMSC. We have been able to confirm that there is a fiber break somewhere along the route to the coast. The fiber vendor has a crew out to find and if possible repair the break. High winds have been reported on the coast. This may hamper crews from affecting repair until conditions improve and they can work on the break safely. There is no ETA at this time.

The break affects both data and telecom connectivity with HMSC.
