HMSC Network Down Monday 10th January 2022 09:37:00
Network connectivity is currently down at Hatfield Marine Science Center. The OSU Network team have confirmed that this is an issue with our Internet Service Provider.
At this time, it appears that this may be a lengthy outage.
HMSC network service was restored at about 4:30pm on Monday, January 10.
Repairs to the damaged fiber are in progress. There is no estimated time to repair yet.
OSU's Internet Service Provider, Link Oregon, has provided an update on the network outage. The cause of the outage was determined to be a fiber cut in Toledo, Oregon. Repairs are underway but there is no known estimated time of recovery yet.
