Issues with Microsoft 365 Applications Monday 25th November 2024 08:51:00

We are aware of interruptions to Microsoft 365 applications this morning including impacts to Teams and calendaring. Microsoft is releasing a service-wide fix, and the problem should resolve once that fix is applied to OSU's Microsoft environment. We will provide another update today at 10:00am.

Microsoft has provided the following update: "Final status: After a period of extended monitoring, we’ve confirmed through customer reports and service health telemetry that the issue is resolved."

Microsoft is still reporting some issues. For the latest updates, see: https://portal.office.com/servicestatus

Update from Microsoft at 3:00pm today: "We continue to see incremental recovery for some users and we remain focused on additional workstreams to fully resolve the issue for all customers. Additional details are available at portal.office.com/servicestatus" We will provide another update on Tuesday morning.

Some Microsoft services have been restored, but we are still seeing some issues. We will provide another update at 4:00pm PT.

Microsoft provided the following update: "Our mitigative actions haven't provided relief as expected, and a portion of infrastructure remains in an unhealthy state. We determined that some of the targeted server restarts did not succeed due to processing issues, which are under investigation. We're currently focused on spreading traffic to healthy infrastructure, and we're seeing some recovery." We will provide another update at 1:30pm.

Microsoft 365 services are still experiencing degradation, and Microsoft is continuing to work to resolve the problem. Impacted services include: Microsoft 365 suite, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Power Automate in Microsoft 365. We will provide another update at 11:30am PT.
