Outlook Issues - Stabilized Wednesday 24th April 2019 08:49:00


We received several reports the morning of 4/24/2019 regarding intermittent Outlook issues.

Outlook services have been stabilized. UIT staff continue to monitor services.

A solution has been identified for the Outlook issue. We are updating servers throughout the day. Customers may see disconnects and need to restart Outlook or reconnect to exmail.oregonstate.edu.

Exchange/Outlook services have stabilized at this time, but we continue to monitor the issue. Customers may see disconnects throughout the day, but should be able to reconnect. Server maintenance is planned for tonight.

UIT staff are actively working to mitigate the issue and service has improved, but the outage has not been fully resolved yet.

For customers having consistent issues with the Outlook client, we recommend using Outlook Web App: https://exmail.oregonstate.edu/owa/
